My dear husband made us coffee cake last night and this morning while the boys were eating it, Aiden said, "You know this is made out of coffee, right, Cason? Mmmm coffee is so good!"
I was making their lunches at the counter and I said, "No, Aiden, it isn't actually made out of coffee, when people drink coffee they have coffee cake."
I had my back to them, so I didn't actually see what Cason did...(I heard Aiden telling him to stop trying to drink his coffee cake) but I heard what he said, which was: "Wow, I don't know how they do that, cause I can't drink it...how do they drink it, Mom?"
I then had to clarify that you drink the coffee and eat the coffee cake....
